No prior experience is required! Our kayaks and paddleboards are beginner-friendly, and we provide all the necessary instructions to help you feel comfortable on the water. We also offer tips on how to safely navigate the river.

All rentals include a life jacket (PFD) and a paddle. We highly recommend wearing your life jacket at all times for safety, even if you are an experienced paddler.

We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that can get wet. Don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, water shoes, and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

Yes, we offer private boat charters on the LaHave River for those looking for a more personalized experience. Our charters are great for small groups, special events, or a relaxing day on the water.

Renters must be at least 18 years old, but children are welcome with adult supervision. For younger paddlers, we offer tandem kayaks and child-sized life jackets.

    •    Stay aware of your surroundings and keep a safe distance from other boats.
    •    Avoid strong currents or windy days, as they can make paddling difficult.
    •    Know how to properly get in and out of your kayak or paddleboard to avoid accidents.
    •    If you’re a beginner, try to paddle in calm, shallow areas until you feel confident.

Reservations can be made online through our website or by calling us directly. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season, to ensure availability.

We have a flexible cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

Yes, we offer group rentals for kayaking and paddleboarding. Please contact us in advance to ensure we can accommodate your group size.

Unfortunately the entrance to the boat is too narrow for a standard wheelchair.  However we will accommodate in any way we can. Please contact us.
